Ex-US president Bill Clinton and best-selling author James Patterson are to meet Hollywood producers about an adaptation of their novel ‘The President Is Missing’.
According to a media report published Tuesday, a heated battle is about to be shaped among Hollywood producers for the film rights to the novel due to be out in June 2018.
This is the first time Clinton will see a book-to-film adaptation of his works while the 42nd POTUS has published three titles since January 2001 after leaving office.
Five of books written by Clinton’s co-author Patterson were also adapted for the big screen.
Unidentified sources were quoted by the media as saying that the pair will meet with producers such as Steven Spielberg and George Clooney.
